This is basically a Key Stage 2 maths website – but we also offer many Key Stage 1 and some early Key Stage 3 materials. This is what you’ll find here :

The TOPICS section contains simple, straightforward explanations of various ideas which can be covered in maths lessons at this stage. Teachers, parents (or even pupils themselves) will certainly find it worthwhile to browse among the pages in this section. All materials are free to download for use in the classroom.

Other pages contain resources of various sorts – with all items tried, tested and ready for use and free for you to download, copy and print. You will find here useful GRIDS, TABLES & CHARTS, as well as a wide range of MATHS GAMES. There are colourful and engaging LOOP CARDS for use with KS1 and KS2 pupils and there are practice materials of various sorts. For KS1, KS2 and KS3 teachers, our MATHS INVESTIGATIONS are well worth looking at; each one is clearly outlined ie the aims of the investigation and the mathematics involved are fully explained, together with the practicalities of making it work in the classroom. If you’re looking for inexpensive display materials, our MINI-POSTERS might well be just what you’re after.

Amongst our WORK-CARDS & WORKSHEETS you will find an interesting variety of number-placement problems (magic squares, number walls, product webs and ‘mini sudoku’) as well as questions on sets and logic, practice material for your year 6 pupils and sets of ‘challenge’ questions for your more able pupils in years 3, 4, 5 and 6. All our work-cards and worksheets are clearly and elegantly produced, all come complete with answers – and all are free!
